The second night of the opening of the New Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster Bridge (for we are really at a loss to all it by any other name, though the manager, Mr. Astley, jun. has modestly termed only the interior rebuilt), was again crowded yesterday evening in every part of the house. The grand spectacle of the Iron Tower teems with incidents and striking situations; and aided by the powerful assistance of beautiful scenery and magnificent dress, with the impressive acting of Mr. and Mrs. Astley, Laurent, Wallack, &c. promises to rank amongst the most attractive and best spectacles of the day. Mr. Upton, author of the songs, and Mr. Sanderson, of the music, have added additional credit to their names by their joint efforts to serve the piece, and with the brilliancy and magic effect of one of the most beautiful theatres in England, will we think prove the means of repaying the Manager the very expence [sic] he must have been at in opening the house in its present state.
