There was novelty in this theatre last night.—The same able company which the Mess. Astleys had last year, have again taken their ground; and the entertainment, though it had not to boast the merit of novelty, was rich and varied. Young Astley’s horsemanship cannot be rivalled. He is improved in muscular strength, and, to the grace and elegance of his attitudes, he has firmness and tone more than heretofore. A new scene was introduced in the pantomime, representing a Chinese redoubt, which had a very charming effect.
