Sarah Bosse co-authored the Chinese-Japanese Cookbook (1914) with her sister Winnifred Eaton, who wrote as Onoto Watanna. She is also often credited as co-author, with Winnifred, of Marion (1916). Four sisters in this family were authors to varying degrees: Edith Eaton, Grace Eaton Harte, Sara Eaton Bosse, and Winnifred Eaton.
