Bibliographic Notes Our copy: writing in pencil on the inside front cover both pages, and on the inside back cover. Pages are fragile, looks like some are coming out of the binding. There are two prints and description of "Coniston, from Water Head" that seem to be identical.
Critical Annotation

Holland’s Views includes 21 full-plate illustrations of the Lake District, the first views of the lakes to be rendered in aquatint (Bicknell 52). Opposite each view is a brief description of the scene; most descriptions provide information about the landscape or place itself, but some expand on the local culture and history. The SFU LDC copy has some damage and writing on the inside front cover.
