Black endpapers and pastedowns. ownership plates from Giles Shaw and W.D.B. Darbishire. Blind stamped upper and lower covers with a stamped fillet around the edges and flower-like flourishes on the outside at each corner. The upper cover has additional stamping with fillets, each with an added floriation extending away from the centre, bissecting the cover at the upper and lower quarter to form a central square containing the title and author's name in gilt.
