Description	Anonymous, ca. 1770–1790. Very good example of attributions of magazine sources. 117 items. The first half is a very eclectic mix with many epitaphs, Latin doggerel, riddles, prose pieces, etc. interspersed with the poems. The second compiler seems primarily interested in jokes, parodies, quirky items. An apparent interest in Oxford-related items.

Author attributions	Frequent; also many references to print sources.
Binding	Bound in plain vellum which is somewhat worn and discoloured.
Hands	Two consecutive hands. The second hand's section is much longer and more coherent.
Indications of use	Compiler changes about 30 pages in. Short later poems (epigrams especially) written by the second compiler into the spaces at the bottoms of pages initially filled by the first compiler. First half contains elaborate footnotes.
Item formatting	Sometimes larger/special lettering for titles (e.g. p. 59). Freehand horizontal lines at ends of poems that end in mid-page, but otherwise quite plain layout.
Organization	Generally only one side of the page used up to p. 38.
Page layout	Paginated (by the compiler on the verso side, but numbered in folios by a cataloguer on the rectos. Compiler’s pagination jumps from 197 to 200). Plenty of white space.
