Notes 1. Notes say "Fictitious imprint; printed in Paris. Cf. Weller. Die falschen und fingirten Druckorte, II, p. 130. The letters, addressed to the Marquis de Sévigné, are spurious; they are by Louis Damours, according to Sources de l'histoire de France, XVIIe siècle, II, p. 302. Ascribed also to Crébillon fils"; 2. WorldCat provides the digitized version of Amsterdam (1750); 3. As per both University of Manchester and Oxford database, this book was published in Paris. The notes say: "Not in fact by Ninon de Lenclos. Variously attributed to Louis Damours or Claude Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon. The imprint is false; printed in Paris (Weller)."; 4. As per 3., the true publisher was Weller, E.O. Falsche Druckorte; 5. However, as per BnF notes say: "Lettres apocryphes. University of Oxford provides a digitized version that I could not access to verify its authenticity, which I assume since it is Oxford; 7. Philosophy of Love.
