THIS present MONDAY, Sept. 10, and every Evening this week, will be presented, for the 9th time, at half past six precisely, a new local Divertisement, consisting of Recitative and Songs (written by Mr. Upton) with Dances and Action, called YORK RACES; or, The Female Jockey. Pourtraying [sic] among a variety of whimsical incidents, a Theatrical Representation of the late extraordinary Match, for which purpose, the whole of the stage will be arranged as Knavesmire Race Ground. Immediately after which The ENCHANTED HALL; or, The Parthian Harlequin. In the course of the evening, a new Effusion, by Mr. Johannot, written by Mr. Cecil Pitt, called The CHINA FLEET; or, Gun-Powder Tea. Giving a faithful delineation of the intrepidity of the several Captains and their brave Crews, who, to the honour of themselves and Country, beat Linoi’s Squadrons; with a Panorama view of the China Fleet riding triumphant. Rope Dancing, by the celebrated Mr. Richer, whom Mr. Astley has re-engaged for twelve nights, previous to his final departure from London. Equestrian Exercises by Messrs. Jeffries and Porter. And, for the first time at this Theatre, the whole to conclude with a Grand Spectacle, called The PERILOUS CAVERN; or, The Daring Brigand.

Doors to be opened at half past five, to begin at half past six o’clock. Box 4s. Second price 2s. Pit 2s. Second price 1s. Gallery 1s. Second price 6d. to commence at half past eight o’clock precisely. Places to be taken at Mrs. Connell’s, at the Box Office, Westminster-bridge, from ten till three o’clock. No places can be kept after half past seven.
