Mr. UPTON’s NIGHT.

Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster Bridge.

MR. UPTON has the honour respectfully to announce, that his Benefit is fixed for Tuesday next, October 9, on which evening will be presented, for the first time these two years, a Grand Serious Spectacle, written by Mr. Upton, in which Mrs. Astley has condescended to sustain a principal Character. And particularly, never performed, for that night only, will be presented, a new Musical Production, written by Mr. Upton, founded on fact, and a singular circumstance, committed a few years back by Two notorious Swindlers. For that night only, Mrs. Wybrow has politely offered to dance her celebrated Broad Sword Hornpipe. In the course of the evening, Mr. Cosgrove will introduce an entire new Melange, written by Mr. Upton, called A LECTURE on NOSES. Also, for the first time, a new Song, written by Mr. Upton, will be sung by Mr. Johannot, called “Judy, leave the Boys alone.”

Mr. Upton is induced to hope, that as the Author of the following productions: The Black Castle; Fair Rosamond; Inquisition; Barbarians; the Invasion; William Tell; Sleeper Awake; Haunted Village; Old Trunk; Whittington and his Cat; Stage-struck Butler; Spanish Armada, &c. &c. it will plead more favourable in his behalf, than any thing that he can say for taking a Night by way of Benefit.

Tickets to be had of Mr. Mobbs, at the Royal Amphitheatre; Mr. Bodenham’s, Crown and Cushion, Marsh Gate; Mr. Tibson’s, Printer, Bridge-road; and of Mr. Upton, No. 3, Paradise-row, near the Church Lambeth.
