NEW COMIC PANTOMIME.

THE LAST NIGHT.

For the BENEFIT of Mr. CECIL PITT, Writer to the Royal Amphitheatre.

THIS present Friday, October 19, will be presented, never performed, a new grand Comic Pantomime, from a well-known story, with extensive scenery, and mechanical changes, and which has been some time in preparation, called MOTHER BUNCH; or, Harlequin and the Yellow Dwarf. The Story, from which this Piece is taken, has been faithfully adhered to; the extraordinary incidents which characterize it, are regularly detailed. The Pantomime written and invented by Mr. Cecil Pitt. Principal Characters—Harlequin, King of the Gold Mines, Mr. Taylor; Malcioso, the Yellow Dwarf, Mr. Dubois; Mother Bunch, the Desart Fairy, Mr. Decastro; and Kangaroso, the Magical Clown, Mr. Laurent. The Mermaid Geni, with a Song, Mrs. Herbert; and Columbine, Princess of the Diamond Quarries, Mss. Wybrow. The music composed expressly for the purpose, by Mr. Lawrence. The scenery by Mr. Grieve and Assistants. The properties by Mr. Bradwell. The dresses by Mr. Williams. In the course of the evening, a new Local Address, written, arranged, and to be spoken by Mrs. Pitt, in the character of Britannia, being her first appearance at this Theatre. A grand Serio Spectacle, as performed at Paris with unbounded applause, called The FEMALE HUSSAR. To which will be added, for the first time, a Ballet of Action, called The BARBARIAN; or, British Intrepidity. Founded on the History of a British Cruize [sic] to the North. Captain, Mr. Mercerot; Lady, Mrs. Mercerot; the Barbarian, Mr. Laurent; Sailors, Savages, &c. After which, by particular desire, Miss Jenkinson will dance a new Pas Seul. Also will be presented a new Entertainment, called The PITTIAD. In the course of which will be served up, St. Monday, by Mr. Johannot; the True Measure of Loyalty, Mr. Cosgrove; New Hunting Song, by Mrs. Herbert; Queen Mab’s Dream Book, by Miss Fisher; the China Fleet, by Mr. Johannot. And (by particular desire) the last new Comic Duet, called BETTY ALLEN; or, “Pity my Fall, ye Young Women all,” by Messrs. Johannot and Decastro. The whole of the above Entertainments written and composed by Mr. Cecil Pitt. Equestrian Exercises by Messrs. Jeffries and Porter.

Tickets to be had at the Surrey Printing Office, Bridge-road, Lambeth; of Mr. Cecil Pitt, No. 6, Anderson’s-walk, Vauxhall; and of Mr. Mobbs, at the Theatre, where Places for the Boxes may be taken.

Doors to be opened at half past five, to begin at half past six o’clock. Box 4s. second price 2s. Pit 2s. second price 1s. Gallery 1s. second price 6d. Second price to commence at half past eight o’clock precisely. Places to be taken at the Box-Office, Westminster Bridge, from ten till three o’clock. No servants can possibly keep place after half past seven o’clock.
