The new Pantomime of Harlequin, King of Spades, founded on the well known game of Laugh and lay me down, and not lie down, as many may suppose it ought to be expressed, continues to overflow the Royal Amphitheatre with company every evening. Great, however, as the attraction of this production really is, the excellent Ballet of the Merry Coblers, the wonderful horsemanship of Master and Miss Saunders, and the fine acting of Mrs. Astley in the Heroine of China, have also their magnetic effects, and the more so, when it is known that the greater part of these amusements are to be withdrawn after Saturday evening.
