THIS PRESENT MONDAY, August 19, and every Evening this Week, will be presented, at Half past Six o’Clock precisely, for the 18th time, an entirely New Comic Ballet of Action, composed by Mr. Gouriet, the Music, &c. by Mr. Lawrence, called, VENUS PILGRIM; or, THE DERVISE.

Immediately after which, never performed, an entirely New Comic Pantomime, interspersed with uncommon Mechanical Changes, Transformations, and Scenic Metamorphoses, called, THE DIVING BELL; or, NEPTUNE’s GIFT. Principal Characters—Pierrot, Mr. J. Dubois; Harlequin, MR. Ridgeway; and Columbine, Mrs. Wybrow. In the course of the Pantomime the following entirely New Scenery will be pourtrayed [sic]: sea View and Wreck of the Abergavenny; Progressive Rising of the Ride and Diving Bell; Trio of Mariners; Sea Cavern, with Neptune’s Gift; Pantaloon Mansion, General Meeting; the Animated Forest; Foregone Village, and the Shew-Box Find; a View of the Steine at Brighton; Cariestore, Recitative and Song, Messrs. Decastro and Johannot, “My Lady, My Man, and My Ass” An Inn transformed to a Bakehouse; Indian View and Plantations. Song, “The Irish Overseer,” by Mr. Slader. “Ups and Downs in Life” The Gloomy Cavern.

The Pantomime to conclude with NEPTUNE and AMPHITRITE’s PALACE. The Scenery designed by Mr. Grieve, and executed by him and Assistants. And the Pantomime composed and arranged for the Stage, by Mr. Astley.

In the course of the Evening, various EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES by Master Saunders, Mr. Jeffries, and Clown, Mr. Porter.

The whole to conclude with (15th time) an entirely New Spectacle, as now performing in Paris, with an appropriate Combats, Dancers, &c. called, THE FALSE PENITENT; or, TRE MONK OF PALLUZI.

Doors to be opened at Half past Five, to begin at Half-past Six o’Clock.
