National subjects, when brought on the Stage by a judicious and liberal Manager, have always, and must continue to attract a more than usual degree of interest, and, whether local or otherwise, must lend to make an impression of the most pleasing and lasting nature; more especially when we have to notice such a Spectacle as was presented, for the first time, yesterday evening, at the Royal Amphitheatre, under the name of “British Courage;” which brings to the eye of the spectator the recent gallant and unprecedented bravery, as displayed by fifty bold Britons, at Muros Bay, under the command of Captain Maitland and the matchless Lieutenant Yeo.
