The very short time that is to come of the present Entertainments at the Royal Amphitheatre, which, it is said, will finally be withdrawn in the course of a night or two, has set every box in the house in a state of requisition. Common performances, like common circumstances, have their attraction only to a certain degree; but the superior merits of such amusements as the London Apprentice, and the Harlequinade of Take Warning, may truly be set down invaluable.
