THIS Evening, Monday, September 9, and every evening this week, will be presented, at half past six o’clock precisely, an entirely new Ballet of Action, composed by Mr. Mercerot, called FALSE COLOURS. Immediately after which, tenth time, an entirely new Comic Pantomime, interspersed with uncommon Mechanical Changes, Transformations, and scenic Metamorphoses, called THE DIVING BELL; or, Neptune’s Gift. Harlequin, Mr. Ridgeway; Columbine, Mrs. Wybrow. In the course of the evening, various Equestrian Exercises, by Master Saunders, Mr. Jeffries, and Clown, Mr. Porter. The whole to conclude with the grand magnificent Spectacle, in two parts, taken from an old English Tale, consisting of recitative, songs, duets, trios, choruses [sic], uncommon combats with the battle-axe, small and broad swords, and appropriate dances, called the LONDON APPRENTICE, or the Seven Towers of Constantinople, in which Mrs. Astley will appear.
