DEATH of MR. DUCROW.—It is with regret that we announce the death of this remarkable man, who expired last night at his house, No. 19, York-road, Lambeth. The dreadful shock received by the late Mr. Ducrow from the conflagration of the Amphitheatre last June, which terminated in the death of one of his oldest servants, and the destruction of the whole of his theatrical property, induced a state of insanity, from which he never wholly recovered. On Saturday last he was seized with a paralytic stroke, after which he never rallied. Mr. Ducrow was in his 54th year.
