            Royal Grove.—Mr. Astley respectfully informs the nobility, gentry, and others, that he, his son, and troop, are arrived at the Royal Grove, Westminster-bridge, after having been wind bound a considerable time at Boulogne. Young Astley will perform this evening, Saturday, April 28, his unparalleled, new, and graceful equestrian exercises; among which are his vaulting, dancing, and flying over the garter and stick, at the same instant, upwards of twelve feet from the ground; also young Astley’s troop will perform their several exercises on horseback, in a manner peculiar to themselves. The royal troop of female rope-dancers, from Paris, will also perform their amazing and pleasing feats on the slack wire, slack and tight rope, &c. And, for the first time in England, the famous and surprising Signor Francisco’s musical performance on the grand lute; also, for the first time, a musical piece called, “A Game at Cards; or, Marriage by Stratagem.” Tumbling re improved, by a capital group; a new dance called, “Le Vieux Amoureiux; or, the Power of Beauty;” a musical piece called, “the Laplanders;” also pyramids, imitations, and a favorite pantomime. The whole to conclude with young Astley’s exercises, never exhibited in London.
