New Music by Mr. Gehot.

The Paintings of Plymouth and Dock, by Messrs. Lupino, Robertson, and Blackmore;

The small Boats by Messrs. Cabanell and Macquoid;

The Ships, composing the British Squadron, by other Artists.

The excellence of the mechanism which gives motion to the small boats, in rowing and feathering their oars, and also to the men of war (which are completely rigged) in tracking and forming different evolutions; firing on starboard and larboard tracks; their sails strictly conforming to the intent, produces the most charming effect. This contrivance is entirely new, ad unknown in any other Theatre in Europe. It is to be observed that Mr. Astley’s stage being so large, has enabled him to give the whole of this spectacle on a very extensive scale, particularly the line of battle ships.

The Characters are as follow:

Pilots, Messrs. Henley, Birket, and Connell;

Female Rowers,

Mrs. Wallack, Mrs. Stevens, and Mrs. Woodman;

Mrs. Johannot, Mrs. Saunders, and Mrs. Hanley;

The whole forming the most brilliant NAVAL SPECTACLE that ever appeared on any Stage.
