Nothing escapes the vigilance of Astley—Last night he brought out a musical sketch, called “Good news for Tars, or Spanish Dollars;” in which are several good songs, and a striking representation of the Guardian frigate in her perilous situation among the islands of ice, together with the noble efforts and means employed by Lieutenant Riou and his crew, to keep her afloat; the whole has been got up with great accuracy and judgement; and was well received by a generous audience.
