Nothing could exceed the brilliancy of Astley’s Fireworks exhibited last night on the Thames, in honour of his Majesty’s birth day; the devices were exceedingly grand and numerous, and the water bring smooth, produced a most beautiful effect by the reverberation of the Fireworks.—We commend Astley for his loyal and public spirit, in sparing no expence [sic] on the august occasion.
