ROYAL GROVE, ASTLEY’s AMPHITHEATRE,

Westminster Bridge.

THIS present MONDAY, August 22, 1791, and every evening this week only, will be presented the following entertainments, viz.

An ENTIRE NEW DANCE,

(Composed by Mr. HOLLADER) called

THE SWEEPSTAKES and PONEY RACE;

OR,

ALL ALIVE AT NEWMARKET.

In which will be introduced,

A RACE, in TWO HEATS, from the STAGE round the CIRCLE,

Between HORSES and PONIES.

HORSEMANSHIP,

And OTHER EXERCISES.

An entire new Musical Piece, called

THE TINKER.

An entire new Operatical Dance, called

LA FETE DE LE L’AMOUR.

Composed by the celebrated Monsieur MERCEROT,

Just arrived from one of the principal Theatres in Paris, and his first appearance in London.

In the course of the Dance, will be introduced,

AN ALLEMANE EN ATTITUDE.

An entire new sketch, called,

THE ROYAL FUGITIVES;

OR,

FRANCE IN AN UPROAR.

Forming a most interesting spectacle, as Authentic as Striking.

The TAYLOR to BRENTFORD.

The whole to conclude with a favourite Pantomime, (first time this Season) called

HARLEQUIN’s GAMBOLS.

The Music compiled from the most celebrated Composers.

The Pantomime to conclude with a most superb and beautiful

FIREWORK.

Doors to be open at Half past Five, to begin at Half past Six o’Clock precisely.

Boxes, 3s.—Pit, 2s.—Gallery, 1s.—Side Gallery, 6d. only.

Places for the Boxes to be taken of Mrs. Connell, No. 38, Stangate-street, the Back of the Amphitheatre.

Servants to keep places at a Quarter past Five.

[star symbol] Ladies and Gentlemen instructed to Ride on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from Eight in the Morning till One.
