The SWEEPSTAKES and PONEY RACE;

Or, ALL ALIVE AT NEWMARKET.

In which will be introduced, a Race in Two Heats, from the stage round the circle between Horses and Poneys.

A Grand Historical Entertainment, interspersed with Singing and Dancing, composed by Mr. ASTLEY, Jun. called

THE VICTORIOUS TARS.

In which will be instructed

A GRAND AMBUSCADE,

And several Combats between

YOUNG ASTLEY (as an English Captain),

And a Tribe of Savages.

To conclude with Allegorical Devices, particularly

A VIEW OF THE GRAND FLEET,

Under the Command of Admiral Lord HOOD, as they lay at Spithead, with the respective Station of each Ship, in their proper Divisions, and under their respective Commanders, as they were expected to be reviewed by

HIS MAJESTY.

A new Dance, with new Decorations, Dresses, &c. composed by Signor Marqui, called

THE ANIMATED STATUE,

Taken from the well known History of Pigmalion.

Principal Characters, Sig. Marqui, Mr. Crossman, Mr. Holland, and Mons. Mercerot; Mademoiselle Cabanol, and Miss Smith.

YOUNG ASTLEY

Will perform his Surprising and Unparalleled

EXERCISES on HORSEBACK.

Also, A PUPIL of Mr. ASTLEY, Sen.

Will make his first Appearance

An entire New Dance, composed by Mons. Mercerot, called

THE FLORISTS.

Taken from the celebrated Mons. GARDELL, and as performed at the Opera-House, in Paris, a considerable number of Nights, without intermission.

The Dresses, Music, Scenery, and Machinery, entirely new.

The Principal Characters by

Mons. Mercerot, Mr. Holland, Mademoiselles Cabanel, &c. &c.

The whole to conclude with a Comic and Splendid Pantomime, called

The FOUR QUARTERS of the WORLD;

Or, HARLEQUIN’s CHOICE.

In which will be introduced the SKELETO SCENE.

Harlequin, YOUNG ASTLEY;

Columbine, Miss SMITH;

First Clown, Mr. JOHANNOT.

Second Clown, Mr. JEFFRIES,

(Being his First Appearance.)

The Pantomime to conclude with

A GRAND FETE CHINOISE.

The Doors ot be opened at half past Five o’Clock, and to begin at half past Six o’Clock precisely.
