The hearing of the charges against Oscar Wilde and the man Taylor, arising out of the scandals disclosed in the recent Queensberry libel case, has been concluded at the Bow-street Police Court, and both the accused were committed for trial.

The hearing of the charges against Oscar Wilde and the man Taylor, arising out of the scandals disclosed in the recent libel case, was resumed on April 11.

The evidence given against the two accused was of a very damaging character, and they were both further remanded.

It has transpired that both the accused had been watched for a long time past by the police.
