The hearing of the case against Oscar Wilde and Taylor, who were arrested last week, was resumed this morning. Evidence of a very damaging character was taken, and the accused were then further remanded.
It has transpired that the police had entertained suspicions with regard to the conduct of Wilde and Taylor, and had in consequence been closely watching both for a long time past.
