In the case of Oscar Wilde, who was remanded to gaol pending a new trial, bail being refused, an application that the accused be admitted to bail has since been made to the Judge, and has been granted.

LONDON, May 4.

Mr. Oscar Wilde has been released on bail, himself in £2500, and two sureties of £1250 each.
