Oscar Wilde and his associate, Taylor, were brought up on remand at the Bow-street Police Court to-day on a serious criminal charge. Evidence of a very damaging nature against both defendants was given, and the case was further adjourned.

It transpired that the police had been watching the movements of the defendants for a long time past.
