Oscar Wilde is reported to be giving every satisfaction in the performance of the duties imposed upon him in Wandsworth Prison. At present he is engaged making mail bags. Wilde is accorded the special privilege of taking exercise by himself, and when in chapel he occupies what is known as the debtor’s pew, which is entirely isolated from the other prisoners. OSCAR Wilde is now in Wandsworth Prison, where he is employed in making mail-bags, and his demeanour since his removal from Wormwood Scrubs has been in every way satisfactory.
