Après un assez long résumé de tout le procès fait par le juge, le jury so retire pour délibérer. Il est 3 h. 30.
Après deux heures de délibération, le jury rapporte un verdict de culpabilité contre Wilde, sous le chef d’accusation d’actes inconvenants commis avec Wood et d’autres personnes.
En conséquence Wilde et Taylor sont condamnés à deux ans de prison avec travaux forcés.
