The trial of Oscar Wilde and Taylor was commenced to-day. Questions were raised as to whether prisoners should be tried under Criminal Law Amendment Act, or for conspiracy. Both counts were admitted. Prisoners pleaded not guilty.
Mr Gill having concluded his speech for the prosecution, called Charles Parker, who repeated the evidence given before the magistrate.
