The report that Oscar Wilde had become insane is denied. At first the convict was kept at the treadmill for six hours a day, but as his health is not good he is at present engaged in the lighter occupation of picking oakum.

The Governor of the gaol in which Oscar Wilde is confined denies that Wilde is insane. At first the convict was kept at the treadmill for six hours a day, but as his health is not good he is at present engaged in the lighter occupation of picking okum.
