London, June 11.

The Governor of the gaol in which Oscar Wilde is confined denies that Wilde is insane. At first the convict was kept at the treadmill for six hours a day, but, as his health is not good, he is at present engaged in the lighter occupation of picking oakum.

New Zealand Herald - Saturday, June 8, 1895
