Bail has been allowed in Oscar Wilde's case.

Oscar Wilde is admitted to bail, himself in £2500 and two sureties of £1250 each.

In the case of Oscar Wilde, who was remanded to gaol pending a new trial, bail being refused, an application that the accused be admitted to bail has since been made to the Judge, and has been granted.
