LONDON, April 12. - A dispatch from Paris to the Chronicle says: The case of Robert Sherard, a well-known journalist, against Mr. McCarthy of the British Consulate, for criminal libel came up before the Correctional tribunal Friday. The hearing was adjourned. Sherard charges that McCarthy publicly accused him of assisting in the Oscar Wilde immoralities.
