London, April 10– The British museum had withdrawn from public use in the library the books in its collection of which Oscar Wilde is the author.
St. Louis, Mo., April 10– All of Oscar Wilde’s works, poems, stories and plays have been withdrawn from the public library, by order of the librarian, and his action has been formally approved by the board of directors.
Newark, April 10– At the last meeting of the board of trustees of the Free public library, it was decided to throw out all of Oscar Wilde’s books and erase the author’s name from the library catalogue.
