LONDON, May 3 - The United Press learns that Baron Pollock, one of the judges of the queen’s bench division of the high court of justice, heard in his private chambers in the high court, this afternoon, the application of counsel to admit Oscar Wilde to bail.

Judge Pollock agreed to accept bail, and will read the depositions this evening and fix the amount tomorrow.
