LONDON, ENG., April 24. -- The application of counsel for Oscar Wilde to have his trial, which was set for Friday next, postponed on the ground that his lawyers had not had sufficient time to prepare for defense, and the present state of public feeling has made a fair trial impossible, was refused to-day. Wilde's home was sold by the Sheriff in the presence of a crowd of curiosity mongers.
