LONDON, Sept. 24.--In a hearing of the Oscar Wilde bankruptcy case to-day counsel for Mr. Wilde stated that hs debts amounted to £3,591, and that there were no assets.

Several friends, it was stated, have subscribed a sufficient sum to pay all the claims against Mr. Wilde except that of the largest creditor, who is a personal friend of the debtor.

The examination was adjourned until Nov. 12.

Several friends, it was stated, had subscribed a sufficient sum to pay all the claims against Mr. Wilde except that of the largest creditor, who is a personal friend of the debtor. The examination was adjourned until November 12th. The convict play-wright and author was brought from his prison to the Bankruptcy Court in a cab. He was not called to the stand, however.
