LONDON, TUESDAY.The London Bankruptcy Court was thronged to-day when Oscar Wilde was called for public examination. The debtor
was in attendance from Wandsworth, but was not brought into court, Mr. Grain asking for an adjournment as a subscription was being raised by the debtor’s
friends to be devoted to the payment, with one exception, of the debts in full. The statement of affairs shows liabilities £3,591, and no assets of
present realisable value. The hearing was adjourned till the 12th November.
