VANITY FAIR.

I like Oscar Wilde's play so much. It reminded me of a diamond perfectly cut, in this way, that every movement brought to light a new beauty, every word and action of the play was exquisitely brilliant, there is no mistaking the order of the work the brilliant satirist put into his play. "An Ideal Husband" is the work of a genius. And another thing, give the devil his due, and whether in gaol or out of gaol, Oscar Wilde, as the author, deserves all the credit and reflected glory his work should ensure for him, and no man has any right to try and deprive him of it. You can hang the man if you like, or if he deserves it, but you cannot kill his work, for genius is immortal!
