LONDON, JUNE 4.
A startling report is current respecting Oscar Wilde, the well-known author and dramatist, who on May 26 was convicted of criminal offences, and sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
It is said that when the prisoner's head was shaved, in accordance with the gaol regulations, tho shame and ignominy of his position so affected him that he went out of his mind. It is further stated that he is now a raving lunatic, and has been confined in a padded room.
