LONDON, Thursday.— It has been ascertained that Oscar Wilde, on his admission to prison, was compelled to work for six hours daily on the treadmill. At present, however, owing to sickness, he is engaged at picking oakum. The governor of the gaol denies the report that Wilde has become insane.
