It is reported that Oscar Wilde, who was last month sentenced to two years' imprisonment for offences under the eleventh clause of the Criminal Law Consolidation Act, became insane when the authorities shaved his head upon his admission to prison. It is also stated that Wilde is confined in a padded room.
