NEWS AND NOTES
IN A
NUTSHELL.
THE BUSY MAN'S COLUMN.

Oscar Wilde and the man Taylor, with whom he is so unenviably associated, were yesterday committed for trial by the Bow street magistrates. A distinction has been made between the defendants, as Wilde is committed on a charge of misdemeanor only and Taylor is sent for trial on a charge of felony. Shocking evidence was given at the magisterial investigation, as our cable message, published this evening, sufficiently indicates. More prosecutions spoken of. Bail was refused to Wilde.
