FROM YESTERDAY'S
LATE EDITIONS.
NEWS AND NOTES

The Marquis of Queensberry and his delightful son — Oscar Wilde's "divine thing" — meet last evening in Piccadilly, and have a stand up fight. They are arrested by the police and taken to the nearest station. There each declines to charge the other. The police solve the puzzle by charging both with disorderly conduct. They are bailed out and were to appear before the magistrates to-day. Lord Alfred has a black eye. The Marquis got his hat smashed. The crowd cheered the father, as might have been imagined. Marquis of Queensberry rules, of course.
