THE
WILDE SCANDAL.
THE THIRD TRIAL OF
WILDE.
THE CHARGE OF INDECENCY
AGAINST SHELLEY.
UNSUPPORTED BY EVIDENCE.
COMMENTS BY THE JUDGE.
LONDON, May 24.
The third trial of Oscar Wilde was continued yesterday. The evidence produced was identical with that already heard. His Honor discharged the youth Shelley, stating that the evidence connecting him with the crime lacked support. His Honor further considered that there was nothing to show but that the friendship which existed between Wilde and Shelley was one of the most honorable kind.
The case against Wilde was adjourned until Saturday.
