LONDON, FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 1895.

The hearing of the charge against the Marquis of Queensberry of maliciously publishing a false and defamatory libel concerning Mr. Oscar Wilde was resumed yesterday before Mr. Justice Collins at the Central Criminal Court. The cross-examination of Mr. Wilde by Mr. Carson was concluded, and he was subsequently re-examined by Sir Edward Clarke. Mr. Carson then opened the case for the defence, and had not finished his speech when the Court rose.
