THE CHARGES AGAINST MR. OSCAR WILDE.

At Bow-street on Saturday, before Sir John Bridge, Mr. Oscar Wilde, of 16, Tite-street, Chelsea, was charged on a warrant under the 11th section of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.—Mr. Gill, who appeared on behalf of the Public Prosecutor, having briefly opened the case, Charles Parker was called and gave evidence bearing out the statement of counsel.—In the course of his examination, Mr. Gill interrupted the proceedings to state that he had just been informed that Alfred Taylor had been arrested, and it would save time if he were now brought into the dock, so that he might also hear the evidence. Sir John Bridge consenting, Taylor was placed in the dock and charged with complicity in the offences alleged against Wilde.—Further evidence was then given for the prosecution, and ultimately the case was adjourned until Thursday. Bail was refused.
