THE TRIAL OF WILDE AND TAYLOR.

The trial of Oscar Wilde and Alfred Taylor was resumed at the Old Bailey this morning. The first witnesses called were the shorthand writers who took verbatim notes of the Queensberry trial. Sir E. Clarke, in reply to the judge, said he had made extracts from the transcripts which he proposed to use. Hotel employees gave evidence as to what had come under their notice during the visits of Wilde. Sergeant Harris said that in May, 1893, he obtained access to Taylor's rooms in Little College-street. He then described them, and gave details of the arrest of the prisoner.
