Oscar Wilde. — A clerk from the office of Messrs. Humphreys and Son, solicitors to Mr. Oscar Wilde, yesterday attended before Mr. Baron Pollock, in Chambers, at the High Court of Justice, and having stated that two sureties of 1250l. each had been obtained, the order was drawn and duly signed by the Judge. The Clerk then proceeded to the Treasury and served a copy of the order on the officials there. The order is made returnable for this morning, when an appearance on behalf of Mr. Wilde will be made at Bow-street Police-court. The gentlemen who have offered themselves as bail are stated to be well-known men, and both have received notice to attend at the Court this morning to answer any questions that the Magistrate may deem it necessary to put to them. Should the Magistrate be satisfied with the nature of the bail, he wiil sign the order for Mr. Wilde's release from custody until the 20th inst., when the next Sessions will commence at the Central Criminal Court. The Prisoner will be released, it is anticipated, in the course of the afternoon.
