A duel was fought to-day between M. Jules Huret, the editor of a department of notes on current literature in the Figaro, and M. Catulle MendËs, who, together with MM. Marcel Schwob and Jean Lorrain, was therein mentioned as an intimate friend of Mr. Oscar Wilde. M. Marcel Schwob and M . Catulle MendËs challenged M Huret, and in the duel fought to-day M. Catulle Mendes was wounded in the forearm.
